Yesterday I called to ask about the price for scaling and polishing. The lady told me I must first pay ₦8,000 for registration/consultation. I asked about the actual procedure cost, and she said it wasn’t up to ₦50,000.

I eventually paid ₦40,000 for the scaling and polishing + ₦8,000 for consultation = ₦48,000 total. Meanwhile, other top clinics in Ibadan charge ₦20,000–₦30,000 flat, with no hidden extras.

What’s frustrating is that I already told them exactly what I wanted, yet they still insisted on consultation before letting me do the same thing. The last time I checked with this same clinic, the price was ₦25,000. How did it suddenly jump to ₦40,000 plus a mandatory ₦8,000 consultation?

The service itself was fine, but the pricing feels exploitative. I honestly expected more transparency and fairness. If this is how the pricing now works, customers deserve a clear explanation upfront..

I noticed you said I’ve been your customers before, that was a big lies that was my first time. Before others charge 20k and max 30k but you charge 40k and also 8k for the consultation. Stop lying. I hate that. I already know what I wanted but I’ve to pay for consultation again ? Give me a q break
