The formerly neglected Olubadan Stadium has been refurbished ahead of the commencement of Ibadan Football Association League, which kicks off on May 25, 2019. The league is returning five years after the Ibadan Football Association (IFA) rested it.

A trip to the stadium reveals massive development taking place at the monumental edifice, which had been shut down from football action for five years by the Oyo FA.

Right from the exterior, which wall fence is being painted, to the environment, which has been cleared of weeds, the stadium looks set for a new era of activities.

Pipes have been laid round the pitch for continuous and steady wetting of the newly re-grassed football pitch.
