One of the Hotels in Ado Ekiti. I have never been inside before, but from the exterior, it’s a top notch hotel. It has a Beautiful entrance, it’s located along Iworoko Road. Splendour is in the same compound with Pathfinder. Pool service is available.

Pathfinder Hotel can best be regarded as an artefact. A museum of the old order of what the hospitality business looked like at the turn of the new century.

The facility could still be attractive from the outside (especially to a first time guest), with a lobby and carpark that look decent and inviting, however the rooms and the services are whack and outdated.

Buildings are constructed like flats with each one supposed to have a bellhop/floor manager, but no one is ever around and anyone, I repeat, just any one can walk into any of those flats and knock on the doors with all boldness.

The furniture in the rooms need to be overhauled, while the hotel should consider alternative sources of power generation during the daytime, instead of keeping guests in dark and hot rooms because of the management’s desire to conserve fuel.

The one good spark left in the facility is the outdoor bar and club ‘splendour’, which still ranks among the top 3 in the town for a colourful nite life, good music and a variety of what to eat and drink.
